Meet the Artist: Tom Baird

Tom Baird is a native born San Diego singer, songwriter and musician.

Tom started his musical journey in his high school days when he began learning the guitar. He enrolled at Grossmont College as a music major and over the years he has been the driving force of many all original bands.

As a songwriter he excels in his craft and spends much of his time composing. He currently heads up a local trio named Baird & Silva featuring David Silva and JRod. They have been performing throughout the county for over a decade and have hosted numerous local artists on various stages.

According to Tom, “Music is all about sharing. To make something from nothing is a great gift to pass along, plus it’s all so fun.”

Tom Baird last performed at the Wieghorst Museum Garden on Friday, September 15th 2023. The show was wonderful. He matched the mood for the setting and audience and we can’t thank him enough. Thanks, Tom!
