Downtown Walking Tour

The Downtown Walking Tour is a self guided tour of historic downtown El Cajon, California. It begins at the Knox House Museum – the first commercial business to serve the El Cajon Valley built in 1876. It ends at the Olaf Wieghorst Museum featuring the work and home of Western Artist, Olaf Wieghorst.

The walk covers six blocks of downtown El Cajon on level ground. The area is now the center of East County’s El Cajon Art and Entertainment District.

during normal operating hours on Fridays (11am – 3pm) and Saturdays (Noon – 4pm)
