Meet the Artist: Tom Hiatt

Tom Hiatt was a featured performer at the Wieghorst Museum’s Annual Western Heritage Days celebrations and its Western Music Jubilee.

He is an award winning singer, song writer and guitarist. Voted one of the “Top 5” acts in western music, Tom was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Performer of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year by the WMA. His original song “Bronc to Breakfast” won the Academy of Western Artists “Will Rogers Cowboy Award” for Best Western Song of 2011 and he was nominated for Best Western Male Artist for 2015 by the AWA.

Tom is a local artist and El Cajon favorite son.  We are proud to have him as a visiting artist.

Tom Hiatt is the official “Cowboy Balladeer” of the Olaf Wieghorst Museum and Western Heritage Center.
